The season was reportedly filmed at the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace in Taormina, Sicily. The resort features several restaurants, an infinity pool, and a spa with aromatherapy services, and boasts views of Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea. Celebrities like Audrey Hepburn and Oscar Wilde have been known to vacation there. While HBO has yet to confirm the exact filming location, its coming-soon teaser did confirm the setting, and "Variety" reported that this particular resort was closed to guests for the early part of the year.
