The Most Anticipated Movies of 2023, From "The Marvels" to "The Color Purple"

Alexander Payne's "The Holdovers" played at the Telluride and Toronto film festivals late this summer to widespread acclaim, and it could become a big player during awards season. The movie, which is set in the '70s, stars Paul Giamatti as a teacher who's staying at his boarding school over Christmas break to supervise the kids who didn't go home. He's joined by Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Carrie Preston, and Dominic Sessa.
