Liam Neeson stars as the brooding private investigator Philip Marlowe in "Marlowe," the film adaptation of Black's neo-noir novel. Based on a character originally created by famed detective author Raymond Chandler, the story follows Marlowe on a case in the 1950s. A glamorous woman hires him to find her ex-lover, but he soon discovers that this one man's disappearance is only the beginning. Neeson is joined by Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Alan Cumming in the movie's cast.
