"My Dear Henry" is Kalynn Bayron's YA rendition of Robert Louis Stevenson's short story "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde," the latest addition to the Remixed Classics series. Seventeen-year-old Gabriel Utterson is returning to London after a scandal that got him and his best friend Henry expelled from the London Medical School. He hopes to rekindle his friendship with Henry, who has ghosted him since his departure, and when Henry continues to ignore Gabriel's correspondence, he starts lurking by Henry's old house. There, Gabriel meets Hyde, whose close friendship with Henry causes a deepening rift in Gabriel and Henry's relationship. However, as Gabriel peers closer into Henry's absence and Hyde's constant presence, something is amiss, and looking too closely may awaken a monster Gabriel never anticipated.
