Three best friends in Los Angeles find themselves at the center of a murder investigation while trying to save their gentrifying neighborhood in Jade Adia's electrifying debut, "There Goes the Neighborhood." Rhea, Malachi, and Zeke are preparing to spend summer roaming the streets of their beloved city of Los Angeles. That's until Zeke's landlord attempts to throw out tenured residents by raising the rent. To keep Zeke and his family in their community, the three devise a plan: start a fake gang to scare off incoming gentrifiers and lower interest in moving into their neighborhood.
