Taraji P. Henson Sings the House Down in the New "Color Purple" Movie Musical Trailer

The sweeping cast for the upcoming musical features Taylor as adult Celie, Mpasi as young Celie, Ciara as adult Nettie, Bailey as young Nettie, Domingo as Mister, Henson as Shug Avery, Danielle Brooks as Sofia, Corey Hawkins as Harpo, H.E.R. as Squeak, Louis Gossett Jr. as Ol' Mister, and David Alan Grier as Reverend Avery. Also featured in the cast are Tamela J. Mann as First Lady, Stephen Hill as Buster, Sofia's boyfriend; and Deon Cole as Alfonso, Celie and Nettie's stepfather.
