After a whirlwind romance in the first season, Miranda decides to move to L.A. with Che, who is working on their sitcom pilot. As Che's star rises, their relationship with Miranda heats up; trailers show the couple getting passionate while cohabitating in La La Land. However, it looks like trouble is on the way. The trailer also shows Miranda unhappy about Che having friends over, and hints at a big argument between the couple.
Season two will see some new additions to the cast beyond John Corbett: Tony Danza will be playing himself as an actor playing Che's father in their sitcom. (As Che manifested in the previous season, "Tony Danza is coming in to read for my father. He's not Mexican or Irish, but he is Tony Danza.") Grammy-winning British pop star Sam Smith also teased on Instagram that they were "up to something unholy" on the set of "And Just Like That" — whatever they're up to, the outfits will surely be iconic. Feminist icon Gloria Steinem will also be appearing as herself. And that's not all...
Something shifted on May 31, when it was announced that Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) herself will be appearing in "And Just Like That" season two. In the "And Just Like That" universe, Samantha fell out with the group prior to first season because Carrie dropped her as a publicist. In the season one finale, though, Carrie says she made plans over text to meet up with Samantha, who is in London. Sources say Samantha will appear in the season two finale, talking on the phone with Carrie. Cattrall was also reportedly dressed for the episode by original "Sex and the City" costume designer Patricia Field. This is the moment we've all been waiting for.
