Tomaz is an ex-soldier who suddenly finds himself homeless after his building catches fire. With nowhere else to go, Tomaz is forced to move in with a young woman named Magda and her sick mother in their London home. Although it's on the brink of collapsing, Tomaz stays since he's able to live there for free as long as he helps Magda around the house. As Tomaz grows closer to Magda over the course of the film, he also begins to suspect the building holds a dark secret that involves the old woman.
