BTS Was Snubbed by the Grammys, and Fans Are Understandably Livid

If you haven't already heard, BTS didn't get any Grammy noms, and ARMY members are not happy about it. Despite being named one of Time 100's most influential people of 2019 and releasing Map of the Soul: Persona, the bestselling album ever in South Korea (as well as the bestselling physical album in the US for 2019), the seven-member K-pop boy band wasn't recognized whatsoever by the Recording Academy. The VMAs may have introduced a new K-pop category this year, but if the 2020 Grammy nominations demonstrate anything, it's that K-pop music is still consistently overlooked at major American awards shows. Luckily, the fan base for the group (which is known as Adorable Representative MC for Youth, or ARMY) isn't shy about voicing their disappointment, and these tweets prove just how loyal BTS supporters really are.
