Issa Rae, Nicole Kidman, Alison Brie, and other stars have teamed up for a one-of-a-kind feminist anthology series. Based on Cecelia Ahern's book of the same name, Apple TV+'s eight-episode series "Roar" is a collection of genre-bending stories that examine what it means to be a woman today. The stories are told from the perspectives of eight different women.
The woman-forward cast for the series include Rae, Kidman, and Brie, alongside Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Betty Gilpin, Meera Syal, Fivel Stewart, and Kara Hayward. "Roar"'s trailer arrived on March 24, offering a closer look at the unique stories that will be told — including everything from "the woman who ate photographs" to "the woman who solved her own murder."
