Sleep. It's a much-talked-about topic in parenting, especially when you have a baby or a toddler. As adults, we sleep with blankets. But the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends keeping babies' cribs free of blankets and plushies — so instead, many parents turn to swaddles and sleep sacks.
Swaddles work until a baby can roll over, at which point using them can become dangerous, says Betty Choi, MD, a pediatrician and the author of "Human Body Learning Lab": "With arms trapped in the swaddle, a baby might not be able to reposition themselves, resulting in a suffocation risk."
That's when many parents transition to a sleep sack. "Sleep sacks are basically what they sound like — wearable blankets that look like mini sleeping bags for babies and toddlers," Dr. Choi says. We rounded up 10 of the best sleep sacks on Amazon, but some words of warning: avoid weighted sleep sacks, which pose a suffocation risk. And always keep an eye on Consumer Product Safety Commission product recalls, just in case, Dr. Choi says.

"I used transition sleeping bags before, and they were small and overpriced, especially for the quality," one reviewer said. "That's why I changed brand and bought this. This is perfect for our baby: breathable, thin, and soft fabric."
Worth noting, however, is that some reviewers took points off for a finicky zipper.
