Joanna Gaines Is "Done" After Hearing Chip's Controversial Opinion on Avocado Toast

On a recent episode of Fixer Upper, Chip Gaines made a controversial statement that left his wife, Joanna Gaines, up in arms: he hates avocado toast. While planning the menu for their newly opened restaurant, Magnolia Table, Joanna suggested the beloved brunch staple and offered up a piece for Chip to try. His response? "That's disgusting, babe. Nobody wants avocado on their toast," he said before proceeding to finish the bacon on her plate.

It gets better: later in the episode, Chip decided to ask prospective customers for their thoughts on avocado toast. Chip changed the marquee outside Magnolia Table to read, "Avocado toast? Honk once for yes, twice for no."

In case you were wondering, Chip didn't end up getting his way. The restaurant's brunch menu currently contains an avocado toast for $8. It looks delicious, too! (Sorry, Chip.)
