Disney Released a Millennial Pink MagicBand — Because It Was Only a Matter of Time
After incorporating rose gold into its merchandise to massive success, Disney is finally getting in on the millennial pink trend. In December, Walt Disney World announced that it would be releasing two new MagicBands in early January, one featuring a design of Snow White's seven dwarfs and one in millennial pink.
For those who have never used one before, the MagicBand is a wearable device that can store a guest's room key, park tickets, dining plan, credit card information, and more. In theory, it allows guests to leave bulky wallets back at the hotel and access everything by tapping the MagicBand on Disney's special readers. As of right now, the MagicBand is only available at Walt Disney World.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the newly released millennial pink band is already getting plenty of wonderful feedback. Pick one up for $13 at gift shops or wherever MagicBands are sold throughout the resort.
