Recall Alert! Evenflo Increases Recall to 1.5 Million Car Seats

Before taking the kids for a ride today, check your car seat. Today, Evenflo added 202,346 more car seats to an April recall of 1.3 million products. The addition comes after the company learned that the harness crotch buckle becomes resistant to unlatching over time, making it difficult to remove a child quickly in case of an emergency. The car seats were sold between 2011 and 2014.

Parents who own these car seats are being told to place an online order for a free replacement buckle or call 1-800-490-7591 to place an order over the phone. Evenflo is also encouraging customers to register this car seats and file safety complaints at Safecar.gov.
