Ace's Science Project
Hey, Tom Brady, Ace Davis would like to have a word with you. The 10-year-old student from Lexington, KY, is making waves after his school science project alleging that Tom Brady is a cheater went viral. "Hater level: 100," his dad, Christopher Davis, wrote on Facebook. Not only did Ace win the school science fair, but he provided an in-depth analysis based on the New England Patriots quarterback's stats — and it's almost more impressive than Tom's career records. Ahead of his ninth Super Bowl appearance, Ace concluded that Tom is, in fact, a cheater.
Ace was inspired by the 2015 Deflate-Gate, when it was believed that Tom ordered the deflating of footballs in the Patriots' AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts. "I hate Tom Brady, he's been accused of cheating before, I want him to be caught," Ace told NFLDraftDiamonds in an interview. To test his experiment, Ace, his mom, and his sister threw footballs at different weights to see how it impacted the way they threw the ball. The science fair champion wrote in the conclusion: "The Patriots were found guilty of doctoring football, thus losing $1,000,000 and future draft picks. Tom Brady is indeed a cheater."
The 10-year-old is heading to the district science fair with a vengeance, and as a quarterback himself, it's clear that Ace is ready to take on anything. Read on to get a closer look at his project — but Patriots fans, you might want to look away.
