Epcot is in for some exciting changes next year. Bob Chapek, head of Experiences and Consumer Products at Disney Parks, announced a few new additions coming to the park at D23's Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse event on Saturday. In case you're wondering, one of those additions happens to be a Beauty and the Beast sing-along — so if you haven't already, now might be the time for you to let the classic animated film's soundtrack play on repeat for memorization purposes.
Few details have emerged about the new attraction aside from the fact that it'll debut at the France pavilion at World Showcase. It's not clear when the sing-along will officially make its way to Epcot, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that it comes along at around the same time as Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, the long-awaited Ratatouille attraction coming to the same area of the park in 2020.
Epcot also has plans to launch a new nighttime spectacular in 2020. The show is being created to replace the park's already wildly popular fireworks show and will follow the launch of "Epcot Forever" — a limited-time experience featuring classic Epcot music, lasers, lighting, and special-effects kites — after it debuts in Fall 2019.
