Pink Trying to Put Jameson to Bed

Every Parent Has (Unsuccessfully!) Attempted the Same Trick Pink Used to Get Her Toddler to Sleep

A post shared by P!NK (@pink) on

We've all been there: the entire family is jammed into one hotel room for some reason you have come to regret ("yes, we should go to this destination wedding and not leave the kid at home!"). We've managed to squeeze a Pack 'n Play into the only four square feet of floor space available, and we seemingly succeeded in putting our little one to bed. Then, just as we silently climb into bed and lie there motionless, we hear rustling coming from the Pack 'n Play. We don't dare look at first, for fear that any sudden movement causes the cheap hotel mattress to creak. Then, we hear their little voice, and our detective skills confirm the toddler is now standing up, likely staring straight at us.

What do we do next?

Well, in Totally Relatable Celebrity Mom news, Pink shared an Instagram video showing what happened when she endured the exact same fate. As she covertly recorded from between her bed sheets, we caught a glimpse of her 17-month-old son Jameson giggling, clearly in no mood to snooze. Pink didn't so much as move a muscle. Instead, she quietly repeated "night, night," and "lay down, go night-night" between stifled laughs.

Yes, it's so annoying when they refuse to sleep as long as we're in the same room as them, but — oh, boy — it's a good thing they are so darn cute.
