Dad Builds Epic Star Wars-Inspired Baby Gear to Make You Seethe With Jealousy

"Fair warning: this is not a how-to."

That's how the talented Matt Regonini kicks off his YouTube video "tutorial" of his custom, handmade Star Wars-inspired baby furniture. Sure, he said it to avoid any liabilities with someone making an unsafe high chair on his watch, but when you see his finished product, you get the idea that it's also because no amateur woodworker could ever come close to replicating his one-of-a-kind pieces.

"One of the great things about being a dad is thinking about all the awesome stuff I'm going to build for my son," he said of his 8-month old baby Ellis. "But right now his interests are limited to eating, sleeping, and decimating his diapers, so I get to decide what I build for him . . . and I care about Star Wars."

Matt has unveiled the world's first AT-ST high chair and a "rocking horse" in the style of an Imperial AT-AT all-terrain training vehicle that was built using a single sheet of plywood and just a few dowels.

See his creations for yourself, and although he's eventually going to release DIY plans for other Star Wars-obsessed craftspeople, we're just going to assume the Force needs to be with you to pull these off.
