Sometimes we just need a hug, and that's exactly what Nicolas Mahut got after his loss in the French Open. On May 31, the French tennis player fell to Argentina's Leonardo Mayer during the third round of the men's singles tournament in Paris, but it's his son's reaction to the loss that's going viral. A video of Nicolas's 8-year-old son Natanel running on the court to comfort him has been going around the internet, and, welp, we're officially crying at our desks.
Nicolas was visibly emotional after the loss, and instead of cheering for his dad for a good match with the rest of the crowd, Natanel sprinted on the clay court and smothered him with a huge hug. Natanel has been by his dad's side throughout the entire tournament, often joining him for celebratory photos after winning, but after seeing him cry, Natanel had to be there for his dad. Watch the heartwarming video ahead, and see photos of Nicolas and his son at the 2019 French Open.
