ARod's Reaction to Jennifer Lopez Saying She Wants More Kids Is Classic

Although Jennifer Lopez is still getting ready to marry Alex Rodriguez, she's already thinking about what comes next.

In a Today interview with ARod, Hoda Kotb played the messenger and revealed to the 44-year-old baseball star that his 50-year-old fiancée wanted to have a child with him.

"I did ask your bride-to-be a question yesterday," she said in the sit-down segment. "And I asked her if she wanted more kids with you, and she said, 'Yeah!'"

Alex's reaction was priceless. With a look of nervous anticipation, he simply said, "Interesting."

When Hoda asked, "Have you heard that?" he quickly replied, "That's a lot too unpack."

(In another segment, Hoda added that "Alex said he would get back to her" on the topic of more kids.)

After his initial reaction, Alex — who has two daughters, 14-year-old Natasha and 11-year-old Ella with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis — did offer Hoda a sweet compliment that might help him come around to the idea of adding a fifth kid to the mix (J Lo shares twins — 11-year-old Max and Emme — with ex-husband Marc Anthony).

"Hoda, I think honestly, you've inspired her," he said, referring to the Today host's adoption of two kids in her 50s. "And I see how happy you are, and I think she may want to follow in your footsteps and maybe we'll have you over to give us a little tutoring!"
