We see your Little Tikes, and we raise you a toddler "Peloton." Over the last year, children have seen their parents do just about everything — from taking meetings over video chat, to indulging in a few gummy snacks while prepping lunches, and of course, the at-home workouts. So, it's only natural that after a certain amount of time of watching your parents ride their stationary bikes, you're going to want to join in on the fun, right? Just ask Jaden Michaels, whose daughter Maelynn Jane was so enamored by her father's workout routine that she got her own miniature "Peloton."
Jaden shared a video on TikTok of her husband putting together the toy for their daughter, and it's seriously impressive. After purchasing a stationary toy bike for kids, Maelynn's dad spray painted it black with some spot-on red detailing and even added Peloton stickers. The best part of the video has to be the cut to seeing the father-daughter duo cycling next to each other. "She loves it," Jaden told POPSUGAR. While one user commented that her husband wasn't using an actual Peloton, but rather the "bike from hell," aka an air resistance bike, Jaden said "he prefers that."
Maelynn is only 20 months old, so she's not exactly taking on the challenging rides with her parents or competing on the leaderboard, but Jaden said "she gets up on it" and tries to mimic her dad's moves. "It's a hit!" she said.
It's important to note that kids should of course never get on an actual stationary bike or at-home workout equipment intended for adults, as noted in Peloton's most recent recall of its Tread and Tread+ machines. Check out the adorable video above and see this awesome DIY toy bike project come to life.
