Holy Cannoli! IHOP's New Pancake Is a Nod to a Classic Italian Dessert

Um, hi, it's me, your resident pancake-lover, and I'm just stopping by to tell you that you need to stop what you're doing this instant and head to an IHOP near you as quickly as you can. Why? Because the famed pancake restaurant just added two all-new pancake flavors to its menu, and one of them tastes exactly like a cannoli.

On April 15, IHOP introduced the Italian Cannoli pancake and the Mexican Churro pancake to its International Menu, making it even more socially acceptable for you to eat a load of sugar for breakfast. The cannoli dish is obviously a nod to the famous Italian dessert of the same name. It features four of the restaurant's famous buttermilk pancakes that are rolled up and filled with a sweet ricotta and chocolate mixture, then topped with crushed cannoli pieces, chocolate chips, and whipped cream. The Mexican Churro pancakes, on the other hand, are a stack of four pancakes with a cinnamon spread in between each layer, topped with mini-churros, cream cheese icing, and whipped cream.

Both menu items are being offered for a limited time only at participating IHOP locations — so once you're done drooling over the photos ahead, be sure to grab your family and get yourself a stack (or two) while you can.
