Kate Middleton was in full mom mode as she made a visit to RHS Garden Wisley in Woking, England, where her third and final Back to Nature garden is currently on display. The duchess has spent the year working on the garden design project, which focuses on getting kids involved with nature, and it's given us so many memorable royal moments — who can forget those adorable family photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis enjoying the garden at the Chelsea Flower show?

This time around, the duchess was flying solo for the royal engagement, but that didn't stop her showing off her mom skills, as she was spotted supporting the head of an overexcited toddler who was over the moon to meet her and crouching down in a coconut shy with a group of kids of similar age to Prince Louis. Kate also made a speech at the event, where she revealed a little about her parenting style. "There is a well-known proverb — that it takes a village to raise a child — and everyone here represents an integral part of that very village. By coming together, having fun, and experiencing new things, we can all impart lifelong benefits on our children," she said, as she officially opened the garden.

For Kate and her kids, that "village" no doubt includes extended family, friends, trusted members of staff like royal nanny Maria Borrallo, and the staff at Thomas's Battersea school, where Princess Charlotte recently joined her older brother at school. Raising the heirs to the throne can't be easy, but with a little help, the duchess seems to take it all in her stride. Keep reading to see all the photos of her royal engagement.
