Using her late father's photo as a backdrop was a deeply moving experience for 21-year-old Adrianne Taylor, who is seen crying throughout the clip. "When making the TikTok I became overwhelmed with emotions, and it was nice to see a photo of us, with me grown-up rather than a being little girl," she told POPSUGAR. "I've watched the video myself at least 200 times."
She continued: "When seeing my video the first time people might assume that he had passed recently because I show such raw sadness. In reality, sometimes it feels like 8 years and sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. When losing a loved one, there's no time limit on your grief, you just learn to live with it."
