Vanessa Bryant Wrote a Gut-Wrenching Instagram Post While Attending Gianna's Jersey Retirement
Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa is further opening up about losing her 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, alongside her husband in a helicopter accident on Jan. 26. Vanessa recently shared photos on Instagram from Gianna's school, Harbor Day School in Corona Del Mar, CA, of the administration retiring her jersey number in the school gym and expressed how much she misses her.
"My Gianna. God I miss you," she captioned the photo. "I've been so lucky to have woken up to see your gorgeous face and amazing smile for 13 years. Wish it would've been until my last breath. Mommy loves you to the moon and back. Infinity plus 1. #2 #Mambacita #GigiBryant"
According to the series of videos Vanessa shared, staff members had the opportunity to talk about how much Gianna touched their lives. Additionally, fans have rushed to support Vanessa with words of support and condolences on each of the tribute posts. "My heart bleeds for you and your beautiful girls," one woman wrote in a video's comments. "[I've] been constantly and consistently praying for you all. The world is with you and we all are wrapping our arms around you."
