While women still definitely consider Gucci to be the brand with the iconic slipper, they're likely beginning to search less for the famously popular style with the fur and more for embroidery that speaks to their personal style. This year, however, we're most inclined to choose a subtler statement shoe with floral appliqué that can be worn year round. This season, Louis Vuitton has won us over with chunky platform boots. The Pokerface Desert Boot ($1,250) offers the brand's signature monogram in the combat silhouette girls are pairing with minidresses and asymmetrical shifts.
5 Balenciaga
While many have invested in Balenciaga's trainer sneaker, Demna Gvasalia's signature Stretch Pointed-Toe Over-the-Knee Boots ($1,395) are instantly recognizable, and a safe bet for ladies with long legs or girls who have no problem showing off a bolder sense of fashion.
6 Common Projects
If you want the white sneaker of 2017, the Common Projects Achilles Low-Top ($415) is the answer. Stamped at the heel and grounded with a sole at mid-height, there's no shoe more classic than this one on the list.
7 Kenzo
Kenzo is most regularly recognized thanks to the brand's tiger logo or the block letter scripture you see on these slippers. For 2017, Kenzo has the answer to an everyday espadrille, this pair in particular ($236) complete with a dyed red sole.
