Christian Siriano Celebrated Diversity in the Most Special Way at His 10-Year Anniversary Show
Christian Siriano celebrated the 10th anniversary of his eponymous line with an extravagant runway show at the Freemasons Grand Lodge in New York City. The celebrity-packed audience, which included A-list stars like Cardi B, Laverne Cox, Meg Ryan, and Whoopi Goldberg, was treated to a glamorous event that showcased 72 "royal dinner party" looks from Christian's Fall 2018 line.
Not only were stylish stars seated front row, but a few even walked in his beautifully diverse show. History was made when Ashley Graham opened a show for the first time ever, and the top model stunned in a red belted coat with matching over-the-knee boots. Meanwhile, actress Selma Blair rocked the runway in a nude embellished bodysuit and Orange Is the New Black star Danielle Brooks wowed in a flowing teal gown.
While Christian is renowned for designing pieces for all women, and has always been vocal about size inclusivity on the runway, his show this season may have been the most diverse in fashion history. Models of all shapes and sizes were dressed in an array of sleek separates and elegant suiting, but it was dazzling Oscar-worthy gowns that really stole the show.
