Easy Outfits: A Stylish Jeans-and-Top Outfit to Wear to Work, Dinner, and Beyond

During the Summer-to-Fall transition and early Autumn, denim is essential. After a Summer of faded washes and distressed details, the new-season look offers cleaner and darker pieces, from inky-blue hues to shades of gray and black. Since denim is inherently easy, one of my favorite ways to style it at the top of the season is with a fanciful blouse to dress it up a bit, which is exactly what I did with a pair of POPSUGAR High-Waisted Kick Flare Jeans and a metallic-flecked top by Ulla Johnson. For a polished finish with a trendy lean, I went for a pair of printed mules from cult-label Wandler, and brushed gold earrings from Zimmermann (which I wore to the office and then out to dinner after).
