Good American is known for its innovative material, B-corp certified production, and inclusivity when it comes to sizing. To be frank, I wish every denim brand looked a lot more like this one. And when I heard the label was re-launching its bestselling Soft-Tech jeans, I knew PS editors had to be among the first to test out the new selection. GA introduced some of its signature silhouettes, like the Good Waist Palazzo Jeans, Good Curve Bootcut, and Good Petite, in this curve-hugging fabric that's honestly pretty game-changing (not to give everything away right here on the spot).
What's so great about the Soft-Tech denim? It's one of the most sustainable fibers on the market, according to the brand, blending a lightweight, silk feel and TENCEL™ to create a flexible and soft jean that magically lifts and flatters in all the right places. In other words, it provides a surprising amount of structure for feeling like a pair of leggings when you pull them on.

They're thick and durable without being stiff (a common issue with high-quality denim). Because these jeans are crafted from Good American's Soft-Tech Denim, they are unbelievably soft and perfectly stretchy without skimping on quality. "I'm a high-waist, wide-leg girl through and through, and these jeans don't disappoint in that department. I will say, they were extra long on my petite frame (I'm 5'1"), but cutting them truly made no significant difference in the shape of the leg. In fact, I prefer a rugged-looking hem.
As far as comfort goes, Good American's Soft-Tech Denim is beyond. These jeans feel super stretchy and soft to the touch, but when you pull them on, they somehow provide this magical structure that lifts and flatters every curve. In addition, they're equipped with a gap-proof waistband, which is a highlight for someone with a smaller waist and athletic thighs like me.

When I first put them on I was surprised by how soft they felt, while still having the appearance of good, sturdy denim jeans. While they do have a good amount of weight to them, the jeans still feel comfortable and breathable.
