How to Create a Signature Style
This Celebrity Stylist Will Make You Rethink What It Means to Be Fashionable
When we had the opportunity to chat with Cristina Ehrlich — a well-known celebrity stylist whose client list includes the likes of Anna Kendrick, Allison Williams, and Uzo Aduba — we were psyched. Surely she'd have some inside scoop on what trends we'd be seeing in 2016, giving us a head-start at mastering them and thus, continuing our reign as all-knowing fashion girls.
But when we finally approached the topic during our interview, Cristina, who's also a creative board member over at NYDJ, had a somewhat shocking response. "I'm actually the least 'trend person' you're ever going to meet," she told us."The way that I educate and work with my clients is sort of about having pieces and a style that's very yours."
We immediately pressed her for more information, taking notes along the way. See Cristina's tips for creating a signature style that's all your own — as well as some stunning looks she's put together in the past — then check out 45 fashion resolutions to make in the new year.
