Ireland Baldwin Just Silenced Haters Who Said She Was "Too Fat For NYFW"

Ridiculous weight restrictions being placed on models is nothing new: while it seems like the fashion industry is making strides toward overall body acceptance, women are still being told they're "too fat" to pursue their dreams.

The latest "WTF?!" case comes from well-known celebrity offspring Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. Inheriting the best genes from her 'rents and standing tall at 6'2" make the 19-year-old a natural for the catwalk. The only problem? She, too, was told she's too fat.

Still she triumphed, walking in Son Jung Wan's Spring '16 show at NYFW — and slayed it, obviously. Ireland then hilariously celebrated this milestone, calling out her haters and eating a pretzel in a short video.

Read on to see the stunning photos ahead as well as the clip. This incident has left us scratching our heads, proving the industry has a way to go before women of all shapes and sizes are represented on the runway.

Ireland posted this funny video and included the hashtag #goingtodoalotofpilates in the caption.
