Let's Look Back at All of Lady Gaga's Bold Oscars Red Carpet Appearances, Shall We?

Gaga attended the 86th Academy Awards on March 2, 2014, in a metallic Atelier Versace gown with a lilac sash and an Old Hollywood feel overall. Not performing or presenting that year, it seems Gaga was there to simply enjoy the show.

Following the award show, Gaga attended Vanity Fair's annual afterparty with Donatella Versace wearing, of course, another gown by Versace. She paired the white cutout dress with a sizable emerald ring and two matching cuffs.

Gaga attended the 87th Academy Awards the following year in a ladylike Azzedine Alaïa gown. That's not really what you're interested in though, right? Gaga famously accessorized with a pair of red leather gloves and a floral hair accessory.

Gaga was at the 2015 Oscars to perform a rousing Sound of Music medley in honor of the film's 50th anniversary. For the performance, Gaga changed into a tulle gown also by Alaïa.

It was another Alaïa gown for Gaga at the 2015 Vanity Fair afterparty, although this one was decidedly different, darker, and more dramatic.

Gaga attended the 88th Academy Awards on Feb. 28, 2016, with her then-fiancé, Taylor Kinney. She wore a striking and architectural jumpsuit by Brandon Maxwell, which she accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings valued at $8 million.

Following her performance, Gaga changed into her third Brandon Maxwell jumpsuit of the evening. She then attended the Vanity Fair afterparty with Kinney and Elton John.
