For a special Let Girls Learn event with Missy Elliott, Sophia Bush, Diane Warren, and Queen Latifah, the first lady wore a custom dress from the New York-based label 3.1 Phillip Lim. The dress was similar to a dress that went down the runway at the Spring 2016 3.1 Phillip Lim show; however, modifications were made for the first lady's version.
