Red Carpet Season Is Off to a Stellar Start!

Amy Adams left her American Hustle wardrobe behind for the evening, skipping anything low-cut like the amazing numbers she sports for most of the movie. Instead, she picked a silk black-and-white number from Juan Carlos Obando that featured a wide band at the waist and a halter neck. Her shoes were simple: She's wearing nude patent leather Casadei pumps underneath it all.

The 12 Years a Slave beauty has consistently turned out sophisticated looks that speak of someone who's been hitting the award show circuit for years. For Palm Springs, she picked Elie Saab Haute Couture, Christian Louboutin sandals, and Cartier jewels.

Some time off the red carpet doesn't mean Julia Roberts's styling skills are rusty. Far from it! She went for all-out glamour in a one-of-a-kind Gucci dress, mixing leopard print with heavy gold embellishments at the hem and sleeves. She carried the essentials in a Roger Vivier clutch.

After a year that saw Sandra Bullock in a whole lot of black, we're thrilled to see her back in brights! The actress went for Day-Glo in this hot-pink and orange number that featured lace detailing at the neckline and sleeves.

Dress? What dress? Meryl Streep skipped the red carpet regular in favor of slim trousers and a gold-studded top from the Michael Kors Resort 2013 collection. The combo looks chic, but comfortable too.

The sexiest look of the night belonged to Camila Alves, who positively sizzled in a Mikael D dress from the Spring 2014 collection. It got its double dose of steamy from a high slit on the leg and a lacy slash right across the torso. For shoes, she picked Casadei heels.

Black and white was a winning pair for Naomie Harris, who picked a Chantilly lace dress from the Naeem Khan Spring 2014 collection. The look was extra girlie, thanks to a black velvet belt worn right at the waist.
