Why Pink Is the Most Empowering Color on the SAG Awards Red Carpet

When the stars flooded the SAG Awards red carpet just a day after the Women's March, there were certainly some who continued to show their solidarity for the Time's Up movement in black gowns; this time, though, it was the women in pink who got our attention. They took the spotlight in varying shades of petal pink and bright fuchsia — maybe a nod to those famous pink protest hats? In any case, we loved seeing the color taking over with looks from both Hollywood vets and our favorite rising stars — we're looking at you, Millie Bobby Brown.

Maybe it was all a coincidence, but we couldn't help but feel inspired to see so many in the hue so often associated with womanliness and tenderness, reminding us to embrace our femininity and wear it proudly — in pretty and powerful shades of pink, if we please.
