The New Alternative to Chic Heels Is a Pair of Loafers
The other day my friend asked me which shoes she should buy for Fall — loafers or lace-up oxfords — and frankly, I had trouble deciding between the two. Yes, both are easy to walk in, promising comfort in comparison to our heels. But when I looked to the bloggers, I noticed a clear trend. Loafers won out, and I'm positive I know just the reason why.
The slippers, whether they're embellished with tassels or have a sleek, leather upper (in place of laces), appear ultrapolished. They're eye-catching, even in a jet-black colorway, and they elevate your look with none of the height.
