Everything We Know About What Kate Middleton Will Wear on Her Next Royal Tour

Royal fans are in for a big treat this month: from April 10 to 16, Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, will tour India and Bhutan. And as with any well-planned royal trip, a lot of thought and planning have gone into wardrobe strategizing and packing.

In a new piece in The Telegraph, a royal source has shared some insight into what Kate Middleton will take along on the voyage. Apparently, Kate is planning to take 12 to 15 outfits along for the week-long tour. Kate herself spearheaded the effort to select her wardrobe. She and a small team used intel and location photos taken by an advance team, which scouted the destinations on Kate's itinerary, to select the perfect pieces for every stop.

The source said Kate took two main tacks when building her tour wardrobe. Kate commissioned certain pieces and — in a real-girl, relatable moment — also shopped some online. Although, apparently, Kate just browses and an assistant completes the purchase.

Look for Kate to wear plenty of bright colors as well as local designers on the trip. For help with logistics and dressing, both Kate's personal assistant (and rumored stylist) Natasha Archer and longtime hairstylist Amanda Cook Tucker will make the trip as well.
