Before Matthew's death, he and Mary made an impeccable couple. He even matched his tie to her cranberry separates. Time and time again, the pair appeared as though they were a match made in heaven.

Martha Levinson's visits to Yorkshire from the states make for some of the most hilarious episodes. It's clear from her fashion choices — just look at that furry coat and lavish hat! — that Cora's mother is ahead of the times. Each time she visits, she can't help but mock Violet's resistance to change.
