Tracy Taylor: This past year we have seen a lot of significant changes regarding design teams at fashion houses. One of the most exciting changes being half of the dynamic former Valentino duo, Maria Grazia Chiuri, debuting at Dior. Maria Grazia is adept at red carpet dressing thanks to her stead at Valentino, and now everyone’s excited to see what she will contribute to the red carpet while she leads the charge at Maison Dior. Another exciting announcement this year was the team behind Monse going back to the house of Oscar de la Renta as head designers. While the Monse duo haven’t released their first collection for ODLR yet, their collections at Monse have been met with much fanfare and industry buzz — especially since Brie Larson wore Monse last year (pictured) to the Vanity Fair after party after her Oscar win. I suspect they will be on red carpet stylists’ wish lists and make a showing at the Golden Globes. As always, we also expect to see continuing solid performances by Gucci and Valentino.
