TT: The statement earring trend is back and stronger than ever with oversized shapes, particularly elongated and with a costume or '80s metallic feel. Many runways and fashion shoots have featured one long earring. Statement earrings will certainly appear this awards season, whether it is in a cascading diamond rhinestone effect or in a dripping gold. We’ve seen past seasons champion the statement necklace or choker — a big moment from last year being the ubiquitous Bulgari serpent seen on the likes of Naomi Watts, Kate Beckinsale, Alessandra Ambrosio, Rita Ora, and Jessica Biel. This season will move on to the statement earring/statement cuffs or bracelets that will balance any look.
