We can't be sure who slipped into her suede wedge booties first for a night on the town — Pippa Middleton or her mom, Carole — but we think it was certainly the proper way to elevate a Winter outfit. The duo was headed to the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund carol concert in London, and they bundled up in chic coats.

Carole let a pair of black tights peek out from under her outerwear, while Pippa worked skinny jeans. Both women were able to put their footwear on display, which wasn't exactly standout, but somewhere in between functional and fancy.
