I Wore This 1 and Done Outfit 5 Days in a Row Because It's Easy as Hell

Deciding what to wear in the morning is frankly a pain in my you-know-what. Don't get me wrong: I have days when I can't wait to try on a fun new outfit I thought of, but sometimes I just want to slip into something easy and walk out the door without giving it that much thought.

This Fashion Week, I decided to keep it really simple by wearing a one and done outfit that only takes two seconds to put on: a Summer dress. Even though Summer was basically over, the weather wasn't really cooperating. One second, it was pouring rain and in the 60s, and the next, it was 92 degrees and humid as heck — what's a girl to do? Slip into a breezy Summer dress, of course.

For six days straight, I challenged myself to only wear dresses and find fun ways to make them work during the transitional season. (At one point, I even wore the same exact outfit I wore last year to FW, because why not?!) Read on to see how I styled six different Summer dresses for the Fall ahead.

Style a Long-Sleeved Floral Dress With Block Heels

This is perhaps one of the easier hacks: choose a maxi dress with long sleeves from your closet. Style it with a pair of block heels that are perfect for the Fall.

Pro Tip: Give it a fresh feel by carrying a cute basket bag.

Style a Summer Dress With a Cropped Raincoat

Rainy days are no fun, but they are, unfortunately, part of the transitional season. Rather than wearing a heavy raincoat, opt for a cropped version that you easily slip off.

Pro Tip: Extra points if you style it with your fave Summer kicks.

Style Your Summer Mini With Your Favorite White Boots

Who says you can't wear your ruffled minidress in the Fall? All you have to do is style it with a pair of white ankle boots. The ankle boots help balance out how much skin is showing, and they're supercomfortable.

Pro Tip: If you're feeling really adventurous, style it with cowboy boots!

Slip Into Suede Pumps, and Carry a Fanny Pack Around Your Shoulder

Sheer dresses were all the rage this Fashion Week with many daring to style theirs with high-waisted underwear and nothing else. I decided to keep it on the safer side by styling my favorite night on the town dress with a pair of suede bow-front heels.
