Madewell is having a pretty exciting month. Just weeks after announcing its first-ever sneaker collection, the brand launched its own sustainable swim collection on Feb. 26. Second Wave by Madewell is a collection of 32 items — a mixture of one-pieces and bikinis — made using fabric composed of recyclable plastic, and each item is sold for under $100.

The fabric used gives a "second life" to the plastic that otherwise would have ended up in a landfill, hence the name "Second Wave." Every one-piece swimsuit featured in the collection saved eight plastic bottles, while four plastic bottles were saved per bikini. Madewell used an approximate total of 50,920 bottles to produce the collection. Read ahead to shop and get a closer look at a few styles from the brand-new line.
