Naomi Campbell Closed the Saint Laurent Show in a Fierce Sequin Suit

Naomi Campbell closed Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2020 fashion show for Paris Fashion Week. Wearing a black sequin suit designed by Saint Laurent's creative director Anthony Vaccarello, Campbell strutted down a floodlight-covered catwalk overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

Campbell previously hinted that she would be walking Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2020 on her Instagram the day before. The legendary model posted a video of herself walking for Yves Saint Laurent in 1971 while wearing a luxe green fur coat. She also posted a photo with Yves Saint Laurent himself with the caption, "Mr. Yves Saint Laurent you believed in me and stood by my side when I needed it most!! Grateful for you and for all the memories we've made together over the years.. Kind hearted, creative genius and fashion visionary!! We miss you dearly."

The founding couturier, Yves Saint Laurent, pioneered the black slim-fit tuxedo suit for women called "Le Smoking" in 1966. For Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2020 collection, Vaccarello paid homage to the iconic silhouette by reimagining Le Smoking for the modern woman. The 87-look collection presented relaxed black suiting covered in sequins, sheer bohemian dresses detailed with metallic embroidery, and leather pieces for a sexy night out.
