This week, celebrities showed us how to dress up for the holidays and New Year's Eve. It was a memorable seven days full of glitz, glitter, and glam. When it comes to glitz, Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé showed us what to wear to your friend's birthday party (if your friend happens to be Diddy!). Bey chose a jaw-dropping outfit for the party: a strapless velvet gown featuring sparkling crystal detailing, reminiscent of a Thierry Mugler ensemble she wore during her I Am... World Tour from 2009 to 2010. Kim also opted for an eye-catching design and slipped into an archival bridal dress from Vivienne Westwood. Because, why wouldn't you wear a wedding dress to a party?

As for the glitter, leave it to Dua Lipa to one-up herself in yet another Versace dress. After wearing a hot pink Versace dress to the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards, she went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wearing a similar iteration of the dress, this time in orange. Daisy Ridley and Taylor Swift showed us how to wear one of the holiday season's biggest colors: red. Both stars opted for glamorous Oscar de la Renta gowns on the red carpet that came in the gorgeous color. Timothée Chalamet also showed us how to do low-key glam in this corduroy Thom Browne suit.
