Popsugar Fashion Fashion News Fashion Brands Donating to Black Lives Matter Organizations #PullUp For These Fashion Brands, Because They're All Giving Back to the Black Community June 2, 2020 by Sarah Wasilak View On One Page Photo 39 of 51 ADVERTISEMENT () Start Slideshow View this post on Instagram To the marchers, to the dreamers, to the thousands of brave people standing up for justice, to the entire black community, we stand with you. We are devasted by the death of George Floyd and too many other black lives senselessly cut short. Ahmaud Arbery. Breonna Taylor. Sandra Bland. Eric Garner. Tamir Rice. And countless others whose names we know and those we don’t. Our hearts break with yours. At Lafayette 148, we believe we must do better. We pledge to push ourselves outside of our comfort zones. To be an ally of equality today and every day. To learn more and do more. Because every single one of us has a role to play in making the world a more just place. The events of the last week have been painful. We’ve challenged ourselves with how we can make meaningful change. So we’re starting here: Our team has come together to donate to the NAACP, which has stood up for justice & equality and against racial discrimination for more than a century. On behalf of Lafayette 148, our Co-Founder and & CEO Deirdre Quinn has pledged to match our team’s donation. You too can help: visit @naacp and click the link in bio to give. And please join us in asking for justice: Text “FLOYD” to 55156, and sign the petition from @changedotorg. #justiceforgeorge #blacklivesmatter #L148makersofchange A post shared by Lafayette 148 New York (@lafayette148ny) on Jun 1, 2020 at 5:03pm PDT Share This Link Copy ← Use Arrow Keys → 39 Lafayette 148 New York's Pledge Donations will be made to: NAACP.
