Popsugar Fashion Fashion Shopping Shop the Justice For Breonna Taylor Campaign T-Shirt Breonna Taylor: Over 80 Celebrities and Designers Join Campaign For Justice, and You Can, Too August 12, 2020 by Kara Kia View On One Page Photo 16 of 30 ADVERTISEMENT () Start Slideshow View this post on Instagram It’s been 150 days since #BreonnaTaylor was murdered in her home by Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove—and her killers have not been charged. These men murdered her. No more anonymity. My friends @phenomenal and @wnba are refusing to let justice go unserved. Today, on day 150, @phenomenal shared the following: “Too often Black women who die from police violence are forgotten. Let’s stay loud, keep demanding justice for Breonna and her family, and SAY HER NAME. Proud to stand with WNBA players in joining this campaign, created by @phenomenal in partnership with the Breonna Taylor Foundation, to which all profits from tees will be donated.” The link to these tee’s are in @phenomenal’s bio. I have loved seeing so many women I care about post images in this shirt today. To be fully 100%, I just couldn’t get it right. I couldn’t stop crying when I tried. I’ll get it together I promise, but honestly today I can’t stop looking at the photos of Bre that I have saved in my phone. I didn’t know her, but her face shakes my soul. I’m so grateful for the leadership team behind this fundraiser. I’m so grateful that Phenomenal published an exclusive interview with Breonna's mother Tamika Palmer, and writer and poet @mobrowne (at phenomenalmedia.org). I’m so grateful that we have not stopped saying her name. And I’m so fucking angry that we have to. She should be here. So many women should still be here. Sandra Bland. Nia Wilson. What if it was me? Would you care then? What if it was you? I’d bet the folks who love you would care. I may not know you, but I would. I bet your loved ones would want us to chant your name. Take the the streets. Stand up against the riot gear. Scream “no justice, no peace” until our throats gave out. I am heartbroken. I am filled with rage. I know it is sacred rage, because it is rooted in love. I will not give up. Please, don’t you give up either. Buy a shirt if you can. Be a human memorial. Donate if you can. Register to vote. Change the goddamn system. And never stop saying her names HER NAME WAS BREONNA TAYLOR. #SAYHERNAME movement - @kimberlecrenshaw Artwork by @arlyn.garcia of @grasstaken A post shared by Sophia Bush (@sophiabush) on Aug 10, 2020 at 10:46pm PDT Share This Link Copy ← Use Arrow Keys → 16 Previous Next Start Slideshow Fashion ShoppingBreonna TaylorAntiracismFashion Instagrams
