Emma Stone's Sleek Cruella Premiere Look Was One Big Nod to the Disney Villain

Emma Stone's appearance at the Cruella premiere was one big homage to the wickedly chic villain. For the Los Angeles red carpet event on May 18, the actress, who welcomed her first child earlier this year in March, wore a Louis Vuitton outfit in Cruella de Vil's signature colors of black, white, and red.

Styled by Petra Flannery, the look consisted of a black suit with chain-link details, a white pussy-bow blouse, black pointed-toe pumps, a bright red box clutch, dangly earrings, and a dagger brooch made of over 150 diamonds, including a yellow pear diamond. Whereas viewers are used to seeing the character in a black dress and big (Dalmatian) fur coat, Emma's outfit is a more modern take, much like the prequel movie, which shows Cruella as an aspiring fashion designer not yet jaded.
