Thanks to Irina Shayk's Cargos, I'm THIS Close to Clicking "Purchase" on a Pair of Low-Rise Pants

I've hemmed and hawed over the return of some of the early-aughts trends that have made their way back in vogue. I've passed on bucket hats and tiny shades, but welcomed others — wide-cut denim and sweater sets; though I've been firm on my stance when it comes to low-rise pants — and that's a hard no from me. Cut to Irina Shayk stepping out for the Bulgari party in NYC in a LaQuan Smith bustier and pants from The Attico and I'm over here eating my words — and browsing the web for the same hip-slung cargos.

While something about low-rise jeans can seem stuck in the past, these cargos — and this whole outfit — feel inspired by nostalgia, but altogether new and exciting. The look feels reminiscent of some throwback style moments, but also kind of fresh. The proportions are cool and effortless — and it's hard to pull off effortless in a skin-tight corset. Still, Irina makes the supersexy fit feel nonchalant, coupled with the laidback cargo pants that she paired with sky-high heels. Even if you outfitted the look with sneakers, I'm betting it would have the same impossibly cool vibes.

Sadly Irina's exact pants are sold out, but we shopped out similar options, in case, like me, you're finally ready to commit to a pair of low-rise pants.
