Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Match in Neon Yellow For Their Oscars Performance

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter's much-anticipated performance at the 2022 Oscars turned out to be yet another shared fashion moment between the star and her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Swathed in neon yellow sequins from David Koma, Knowles set the tennis-inspired color palette for the rest of the dancers behind her — one of whom was Blue — as she sang Oscar-nominated song "Be Alive" from "King Richard" at the Compton, CA, tennis court where Serena and Venus Williams got their start.

Knowles's own look, a feather-adorned dress with a slick, see-through skirt and gloves, was a combination of two different David Koma designs that recently hit the runway: one red dress in the same asymmetrical silhouette from fall 2022, and, more recognizably, a similar chartreuse midi dress from spring 2022. Knowles and her stylist, Marni Senofonte, went for the thigh-high slit to better show off her crystal garter and Amina Muaddi Karma crystal pumps.

Knowles completed her look with 150 carats worth of white diamond bangles, a 50-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, and a 20-carat cushion diamond ring, all from her go-to jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Her electrifying gemstone drop earrings only accentuated her glow.

To complement Knowles, Blue Ivy and her fellow dancers wore crop tops defined with underwire and ballroom skirts, a variety of custom styles from Adidas and Adidas x Ivy Park, accessorized with chain-link chokers and silver beads in their hair.

Knowles's look will surely go down in history as yet another iconic outfit the world will not forget, and Blue Ivy's matching look only makes it more memorable.

Ahead, catch a few angles of the Oscars recording, then see the spring 2022 David Koma dress that inspired Knowles's costumes.
